... full of worms! They destroyed my entire crop! Not this year ...
25 yards of tulle netting and no worms!
This photo was taken through the netting but you can see my beautiful cabbage (var. Gonzales). I forgot to take a picture at the time ... we had this in a stir fry with a meal of Freezer to Crockpot Chicken Adobo (recipe coming soon :). It was delicious!
I'm joining other bloggers over at Daphne's Dandelions as we share our weekly harvests...it's fun to see what others are harvesting and what they are cooking up with it...check it out!
Enjoy!
I must try the tulle netting.Did you get the tulle from the fabric store?
ReplyDeleteYes, Jo Anne has it at a good price :)
DeleteVery nice! I wish I covered mine on time because bugs are all over them. :(
ReplyDeleteYou are a cabbage queen - they look divine and I bet they are tasting great too.

ReplyDeleteyour cabbage is beautiful (so are those pea plants!). I keep a look out for old sheer drapes at the thrift store for things like this.
ReplyDeleteGood idea! Sheer drapes from a thrift store would work fine !
